Which Hyundai cars have all-wheel drive?

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe

The Santa Fe is a 7-passenger SUV with a roomy interior for both passengers and cargo. Second row passengers get available heated rear seats, integrated side sunshades, and seats that slide and recline. Hyundai’s AWD system will take you to places other crossovers won’t be able to handle. AWD is optional on all trims of the 2017 Santa Fe.

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport

The Santa Fe Sport is smaller than the Santa Fe, with just enough room for five passengers. Aside from that, it shares many of the same features as the Santa Fe, including the option for all-wheel drive on all trims.

2017 Hyundai Tucson

The Tucson is the smallest SUV offered by Hyundai in the United States, yet it has a lot of interior space. The Tucson also has excellent fuel economy without sacrificing power and performance. If you select the 2017 Tucson with the AWD trim, it’s a great compact vehicle to use for exploring. The 2017 Tucson comes in four trims: SE, Eco, Sport, and Limited. The AWD is optional in all trims.

The Genesis G80 and Genesis G90

The Genesis brand is an offshoot luxury brand of Hyundai. The Genesis has AWD in the G80 and G90 sedans. For more information on the future of Genesis, please talk to us at Zimbrick Hyundai Eastside.

How AWD works on Hyundai models

In the Santa Fe, Santa Fe Sport, and Tucson, power is automatically sent to specific wheels with the best traction.

Driver selectable AWD lock

You can also lock the torque split yourself. This allows for a 50/50 split of available torque between the front and rear wheels. This is perfect if you need to drive off-road or in slippery conditions.

Active Cornering Control AWD

Get improved traction and greater cornering capability. The Active Cornering Control transfers engine torque to the rear wheels and applies braking force to the inside rear wheel. This is a great feature to have for all-weather capability.
